Cardiff Castle is a medieval and Victorian Gothic Castle which was built on the remains of Roman and Norman ruins, positioned within the city center of Cardiff.

Norman Keep & Maintain
Normans conquered the castle and then build a fortress keep, the first keep on the motte was build by Robert Fitzhamon, who was the Norman lord of Gloucester, the fortress keep was built out of wood, over the years fortifications and dwellings happened to improve the castle.
