National Museum Cardiff is a museum and artwork gallery in Cardiff, Wales. The museum is a part of the wider network of Amgueddfa Cymru.

The museum has collections of archaeology, botany, quality and implemented artwork, geology, and zoology.

The former Glanely Gallery was turned into the Clore Discovery Centre, in 2011, which now offers its visitors 7.5 million objects to explore, which are usually only kept in storage, some of this objects include Bronze Age weapons, bugs and fossils.

National Museum has a Art building which is classed one of Europe’s Finest  Art galleries, five hundred years of amazing and stunning paintings, sculptures, drawings, ceramics from Wales and other parts of the world and what is classed as one of Europe’s best collections of Impressionist works.

You can find the worlds largest leather-back turtle and the massive skeleton of a Humpback Whale, they can be found in the new Marine gallery.

Within the Archaeology gallery you can find one of the earliest human objects dating back 230,000 years and how the stone age was like in wales and even the roman and middle ages time.

The museum offers free tours of the art gallery, tours are done by Volunteer Guides.
