wordpress blog post image 8 portable power banks

Technology is being used constantly, spending time connected to our tables, smartphones and laptops, which drains your battery, rechargeable devices help you keep all your devices topped-up on the go.

However which recharging device should you choose?

Here’s my finds, been tested by me and this is my option on them.

AUKEY Power Bank 20000mAh

This power bank is kinda of a monster, not the bad looking way, its actually a really simple and good looking power bank but it weights in at 387g and measures at 149.5 x 82.5 x 21mm.

This device is a whopping 20,000 mAh battery, this means, it can charge your phone up to 6 times.

The design is simple and smooth, it has one button which indicates how much power you have left, White light means you have 60% or more, green for 20% to 60% and red light for 20%, it also has a flash light which you can toggle of and on by holding the power button for a few seconds.

The Power bank comes with 2 Ports, one being a the latest Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology, which means it charges your device 30% faster.

The device is charged by 5V 2A MicroUSB or Apple Lightning connector, so will recharge pretty quickly.

RavPower RP-WD01 Wireless Wifi-Disk

This device is actually a travelers dream, why? well its a 5 in 1 product, it can be used to: Read SD cards, Media Streamer, Wireless Bridge, Backup Storage and a built-in 3,000 m Ah power bank.

Positive thing about this other then the 5 in 1 device is that; It’s also thin and light as a feather so you’ll hardly feel it, and it won’t take up room in your bag.

Just be warned that it wouldn’t charge your phone more then once, so it will need recharging regulatory.

Design is simple and tells you everything you need to know, however it wouldn’t win any prizes for best looking one.

As I’m looking at power banks, this wouldn’t cut it out for charging your devices however this device is multi functional so if you more of a business traveler this is useful, helps you out a lot.

However you can buy 6,000 A MP for a bit extra money, and upgraded overall device but that comes with a price of $ 31.

Anker 15W Fold-able Dual Port Solar Panel

This is a high quality product, its a well made product, that has a beautiful design in even for a solar power battery bank. overall I find this product to be really useful for the outdoors.

Many pros to this portable solar battery are; It’s water proof, yes this means you can take it with you on a rainy day or drop it in a patch of water and it will work; Its easy to use, just unfold it and connect your device; it charges devices a lot quicker then what you expect, it also has an older brother which is 21W but that costs a lot more.

This device I wouldn’t recommend being your only source for charging your devices on the go, However for backpackers and travelers i would highly recommend getting this, because you might end up in the middle of no where and can still use this to charge your devices.

TeckNet PowerEx 1 Built-In-Cable 6000mAh

Power Bank has a build in cable that’s well designed and looks good, the when not in use the cable stays in place, its easy to install and remove, which is a bonus.

The Front of the devices has a small power button, around the button, there’s are plastic white ring, its an LED indicator, with eight Segments which tell you how much battery is in this power bank, when all the segments are lit it means that the power bank is full, every segment that goes off means that you have used 12.5% of the battery.

Problem with the build in cables are if they get damaged and stopped working, this can be the device useless, so it is necessary that every device which has a build in cable needs to have spare ports for just encase moments.

The Size of this device is actually nice, it can fit in your pocket with out a hassle, however due to the size you can’t get much power only 6000 mAh which is around two full phone charges, which is still good unless you going camping for a week without power.

So what one should you choose?

Well that depends on what you need, personally i would go for the AUKEY Power Bank 20000mAh, why? well its simple, it has the biggest power, why buy something that will only last you for 1 or 2 recharges, When you can get something that will Recharge all your devices and still have enough power left over to do it again.

Isn’t why you get a power bank, to keep your devices fully charged.
