Tibidabo Amusement park located on the Tibidabo in the Collserola Ridge, was constructed in 1899 by Salvador Andreu and official opened to the public in 1905 However the park is now owned by Barcelona Town Council.

The Amusement park is one of the oldest in the world and Spain’s longest running amusement park, being Europe’s third oldest park and still uses the original rides that date back to the 19th and 20th century.

The park offers rides for all the family, no matter what their age is, you will find attractions that will entertain you however you wouldn’t find anything too extreme, as the rides haven’t really change much in the last 20 years.

The fact that Tibidabo has existed for over one hundred years approach that almost all of us is privy to it.

A popular trip at the park is the 1928 crimson Aeroplane, a single-automobile carousel giving the impression of flight above the city.

The Tibidabo Museum of Automate has over 40 different mechanical figures from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

How to get here

Bus: Special bus service called the ‘Tibibus’ runs from the Plaça Catalunya square to Tibidabo amusement park.

The bus stop can be found in front of Caja Madrid Bank in Plaça Catalunya square.
